FAQ

Is the AI assistant really included in the SMB plan?
Yes – no AI surcharge. For standard plans we use a current, simple AI. If you prefer, you can choose from a list of AI providers with your own API keys (at your own cost), e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure. Alternatively use our proxy at no extra charge.
Can I upgrade from Free to SMB?
At any time. Your data is preserved. Payment via our customer portal – prorated billing for user changes.
Is there a trial?
Sparks Free is free for up to 1 user. Plus: 30-day SMB trial without credit card.
What does Enterprise / On-Premise cost?
Individual pricing based on user count and deployment model. Full infrastructure (Synapse/tuwunel, Keycloak) can be deployed on-premise.
What is Sparks Pure?
For self-service or your own tenant: you bring your Matrix server (Synapse, Tuwunel…), calendar/todo/contacts/file storage backend, and can optionally use your own LiveKit server and our meeting server. From €1.99/user/month net without meeting server and with your own AI licence. All prices are net prices; VAT is charged separately at the applicable statutory rate.
How is billing calculated?
Billing is handled via Stripe – you can choose a monthly or annual subscription. You can pay by credit card, SEPA Direct Debit, or invoice. Charges are based on active users; prorated billing applies when user counts change. All prices are net prices; VAT is charged separately at the applicable statutory rate.
